Ways out of the daily grind - how to prepare your company for upcoming changes
Offering a project management experience exchange event on Shrove Tuesday was a risk, but it worked well with 24 participants. Jürgen Weiland introduced us to the company and the interdisciplinary project management in the Motec LEAN product development process. Vol-ker Stroh's contribution highlighted the requirements for contract design, project management and the corresponding company organisation of turnkey projects.
Do you succeed in thinking new things? And if so - how do you manage this - reliably? Do you manage to reinvent yourself and your actions again and again? Many companies today are concerned with these questions and are aware that "we have to think "out of the box" more than before in order to prepare for future developments today".
Planning and budgeting is a must for operational corporate management. But which approaches are our member companies pursuing? How can these processes be optimized? Does budgeting still make sense in light of volatile business situations? Participants of the exchange of experience event “Controlling” discussed these questions in great detail at KSB in Frankenthal.
Restructuring in companies is often as unavoidable as it is unpopular. For the affected employees, it not only affects their work and thus their usual routine – but also their interaction with colleagues and especially with interfaces. Enthusiasm is (usually) limited. But now would be the time to work together to make things happen!
On the occasion of the General Assembly of the Regional Subsidiary Central on June 1, 2017 at the VDMA in Frankfurt, the representatives of the member companies of the Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland regions elected the new board for the period 2017 to 2021.
